Kottamchukkadi thailam is one among the most practiced medicated oils in Kerala. It is a combination of Vatha pacifying herbs and curd, cooked in oil. It is used for treating pain, stiffness and even inflammations related to muscles and joints. This oil is used for curing rheumatoid arthritis, trauma, inflammations, bursitis, localized muscle pain, joint stiffness, low back ache, sciatica, inter vertebral disc prolapse, lumbar & cervical joint pain.
Kottamchukkadi thailam ist eines der am meisten genutzten medizinischen Öle in Kerala. Es ist eine Kombination aus Vatha-beruhigenden Kräutern und Lor, die in Öl gekocht werden. Es wird zur Behandlung von Schmerzen, Steifheit und sogar Entzündungen im Zusammenhang mit Muskeln und Gelenken verwendet. Dieses Öl wird zur Heilung von rheumatoider Arthritis, Traumata, Entzündungen, Schleimbeutelentzündungen, lokalisierten Muskelschmerzen, Gelenksteifheit, Rückenschmerzen, Ischias, Bandscheibenvorfall, Lenden- und Halswirbelgelenkschmerzen verwendet.

External use / Äußere Anwendung: Pichu (Localized oil padding / lokale Ölauflagen), Kati & Greeva Vasthi (Oil pooling in lumbar and cervical region / Ölansammlungen im Lenden- und Halswirbelbereich), Abhyangam (Body massage / Körpermassage), Bandhanam (Bandage / Verband), Dhara (Localized oil pouring / lokaler Ölguss).
For all the treatment methods other than body massage, medical supervision is necessary.
Für alle anderen Behandlungsmethoden als die Körpermassage ist eine ärztliche Überwachung erforderlich.
